Ronald Willey

Ron Willey, 76, passed away on March 30, 2016 at Anne Arundel General Hospital in Annapolis, MD. Ron was born on August 17, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. Ron served in the Army National Guard from 1959 - 1965 and was honorably discharged. Ron worked in the food service industry working for the A&P Tea Company starting on 10/31/57. He worked at several stores and retired from the Odenton location in June 1998. Ron's passion was classic cars. He was a member of the Lost in the 50s club and was the 'gatekeeper' at the weekend car show at Marley Station Mall. You couldn't miss his RED 55' Chevy sitting right inside the gate at the car shows. In retirement Ron enjoyed going out everyday and meeting up with friends at either Furnace Branch carry-out for breakfast or enjoying lunch at Olive Garden or the Sunset.

Ron enjoyed his Grace Pointe Community church family and attended service every Sunday. He loved the Baltimore Orioles but never wanted to visit the park - he enjoyed watching the games at home and with his sister Joyce. Ron is survived by his sister Joyce Dorsey of Pasadena and sister-in-law Pat Willey of Pasadena, several nieces (Karen, Sandy, Lisa) and nephews (Gil and Steve) and many loving family members and wonderful friends. He especially adored his 5 great nieces - Lacy, Valyn, Natalie, Cami, and Mya and called them 'his girls'.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
