Alan Gerhardt, Sr.

Alan Glenn Gerhardt, Sr. passed away at his Pasadena home on February 8, 2023.  Glenn had a love for playing the guitar. He was always jamming out with 5 different bands throughout the years. Although his favorite was jamming in his mother's basement with his son & friends. He was always being his goofy self and making everyone laugh. He is survived by his sons Alan Gerhardt Jr., Robert Gerhardt and John Gerhardt; brothers Larry Gerhardt, Terry Gerhardt and Robin Hood; sister Bonnie Mallon; and the late Bear Robert Gerhardt. grandchildren Kristin Gerhardt, Andrew Gerhardt, Caitlyn Simmons and great-grandchildren Brayden Parsons, Aubree Gerhardt, Emery Simmons.

Glenn was born in Maryland on December 17, 1953, and was raised by his stepfather the late Robert Hood and Dee Hood and passed away at his Pasadena residence on February 8, 2023

Family and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated McCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Monday February 13, 2023 from 7-8:30 PM at which time a memorial service will begin.
