On May 8th, 2022 Andrew James Niles passed away at the age of 26.
Andrew (AJ) was born in San Diego, California to Steve and Dorothy Niles. He lived in Pasadena, Maryland with his parents and two brothers Mike and Joe Niles. Andrew attended Solley Elementary, George Fox Middle, and graduated from Northeast High School in May 2014. He also attended Anne Arundel Community College. While in high school AJ took on his first job at the Stoney Creek Bridge Marina; he then worked at Southwest Airlines, the Grease & Go, and ultimately UPS.
AJ was an avid outdoorsman and loved boating and fishing. His grandfather taught him to fish when he was about 3 years old. AJ also had a passion for trains and travel. He took a trip on the Auto-Train and boarded a Caribbean Cruise with his family. AJ also took a family trip aboard the Amtrak from Chicago to San Diego to visit his grandparents and Aunt and Uncle. AJ cruised to the Panama Canal (14 days) and visited Aruba, Curacao, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Mexico. When AJ was not traveling he would attend baseball and football games. He also loved attending concerts with friends.
Andrew is preceded in death by his Grandfathers Harry G. Herrera and James R. Niles, Grandmother Joan Niles, and Aunt Leslie (Niles) Davis. He is survived by his parents Steve and Dorothy Niles, his brothers Michael and Joseph Niles, his Grandmother Rosa Linda Herrera, his Uncle Bill, Aunt Adela and Cousin Jessica Martin, and his Uncle Tom and Cousin Hunter Davis.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Sunday May 15, 2022 from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. A Celebration of Life service and family and friends sharing will being at 11:30 AM. A Mass of Chirstian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 16, 2022 at Our Lady Of The Chesapeake Catholic Church 8325 Ventnor Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 at 11 AM. Interment Private.
