Barbara G. Johnston

Barbara Glaeser Johnston, born February 2, 1950, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2026. She lived a life marked by incredible kindness, strength, joy, and deep faith in Jesus Christ.

Barbara will be remembered for her warm spirit, generous heart, and the many lives she touched through her loyal friendship, endless compassion, and thoughtful care. Jesus was the guiding light in her life, and she shared her hope in and love for Him with everyone around her.

She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Oren Johnston; four daughters (Beth, Melissa, Monica, & Malia); seven grandchildren (Sierra, Erik, Evan, Ally, Tyler, Chloe, & Caleb); and two great-granddaughters (Emersyn & Isabella), all of whom she deeply loved and cherished. While she will be greatly missed, her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is with her greatest Love, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Barbara’s daughters invite you to a Celebration of Life in her honor. Feel free to stop by Grace Baptist Church any time between 10:00a.m. and 12:00p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
