Barbara Klebe

On Saturday, December 24,2022, our beloved mother Barbara E. Klebe passed away. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Rose Klebe. She grew up in South Baltimore with her 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Adam Smith and wife Theresa, and their children David Smith and Amber Patrick. Her son Charles Smith and his wife Margaret “Peggy” Smith and his stepchildren Wilson and Scott Lester, Heather Gouldin and Rodney Six, Jonathan Morgan, Devon Myers, Melissa Lopez, Bree Bieman and Tyler Lopez. Her daughter Lori Smith-Tornkvist and her husband David Tornkvist, Jr. and their children Alora Smith-Weichert, Christian Tornkvist and Baylee Tornkvist. Her late son Kenneth Smith and his children Zachary Smith, Noel Smith, Caitlin Smith and his stepsons Steven Long and Tyler Long. She was also the great grandmother to twenty.

She loved to sing and dance. She also loved to sew and made many costumes, quilts and clothes for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going to the senior centers at Curtis Bay Recreation Center, Pascal Senior Center and Brooklyn Park Senior Center.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory would be greatly appreciated at the link below
