Barbara Jeanne Sully

April 29, 1957 — August 10, 2025

Barbara Jeanne Sully, 68, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1957, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, to the late Sam and Jeanne Shaffer.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Albert Winslow Sully Sr.; her children, Herbert William Jankowski III, Jason W. Sully Sr., A. Winslow Sully Jr., and Suzanne T. Grubb; her brother, Samuel Stephen Shaffer; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride.

Barb lived a life filled with faith, compassion, and service. She was a devoted member of the Magothy Deaf Church and volunteered with Hospice of the Chesapeake. She touched many lives through her kindness, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a warm smile to anyone who needed it.

Family meant everything to Barb. She treasured time spent with her loved ones, and her annual trips to Hawaii with Winslow were a special tradition that filled her heart with happiness and created cherished memories. Her warmth, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, August 17, 2025, 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

A memorial service to celebrate Barb’s life will be held at Harundale Presbyterian Church on August 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Magothy Deaf Church or Hospice of the Chesapeake, two causes that were very dear to her.
