Brenda Bartholomew

Brenda J. (Sands) Bartholomew beloved wife of William E. Bartholomew, loving mother of Kimberly J. Collins and her husband Thomas, William E. Bartholomew, Jr. and his wife Donna, and Brian K. Bartholomew and his wife Amy. Cherished grandmother of Thomas Collins and his wife Lisa, David Collins and his wife Brandy, Brooks Bartholomew and his wife Faith, Blake Bartholomew, Karlie Bartholomew and Rachel Bartholomew. Great grand-mother of Hailey, Caleb, Brayden, Dylan, Brody, Levi, Madilyn and Brantley. Sister of Ronald and the late John, William, Joan and Richard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Brenda was a devoted member of Al-Anon committed to helping families coping with addiction. She was a member of Lighthouse Church and spent time greeting parishioners. Brenda enjoyed her home away from home in Bethany Beach making lifelong memories with her family. She was also known for her legendary Christmas cookies, hand-shaved snowballs and homemade Easter eggs and baked goods. Brenda was always eager to share her wisdom with one of her many tips & tricks to make life easier. She truly lived life to the fullest.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
