It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brendan Michael Mahns, who left this world on April 4th, 2024, at the young age of 19. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, and an uncle. He is survived by his mother Tamara, stepfather Tom, father Garth, stepmother Nicole, brothers Garth II (Tiffany), Hunter (Jordyn), Zach, Ryan, and Travis, and sisters Abbee (Ross), Carlee, his grandmothers Nancy and Susie, his grandfather Garth and by many other relatives that cherished him.
Born with an innate curiosity, Brendan was a kind and gentle soul who loved to be silly and was rarely serious. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and always saw the good in everyone, touching countless lives with the generosity of his spirit. He had dozens of interests as he was growing up, some of which included baseball, skateboarding, computers, cars, and most recently vegan cooking. Driven by his love for technology, Brendan pursued his studies in the engineering program at Anne Arundel Community College. Fueled by his passion for cars, he also became certified in automotive tinting and used his extensive knowledge working as an automotive service writer.
He had a deep affection for animals since he was a toddler that was only surpassed by his love for his family. Brendan loved spending time with his family, and you would frequently find him playing with his younger brothers, cousins, nephews and niece. This is where he found the most joy.
Brendan left us far too early but has touched us all in his own special way. We are heartbroken and he will be deeply missed, leaving a legacy of love and laughter that will live forever in the hearts of his devoted family.
