Carol Barnett May 16, 1947 -October 15th 2021
On Friday October 15th 2021, Carol Riedel Barnett, surrounded by her family and dear friends, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving, empathetic,  generous,  caring,  selfless, and extremely strong woman. Her life was spent in deep devotion to her family and loved ones. She was a loving Mother to Mike Riedel and  his girlfriend Patti Jacobs, Jeanine Matteo and son-in-law Jim Matteo, and the late Amy Riedel.  Loving grandmother of Amy Gordon and her boyfriend Jamey Tolson. David Gordon, Nicholas Matteo and his girlfriend Julene Gwin. Carol had just become brand new great grandmother to Noah Matteo. She was best friend and dear companion to Bill Riedel. Carol was a blessing to everyone who knew her and the special imprint she left on people's hearts and lives was lasting.

All are welcome to visit and pay their respects Thursday October 21st at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena MD 21122 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Her funeral will be held at Jenkins Memorial Church 133 Riviera Drive,  Riviera Beach, MD 21122 on Friday, October 22nd. With a viewing from 10am-10:30 am and the service beginning at 10:30am. Carol will be laid to rest next to her precious daughter Amy at Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that during these particularly tough times,  donations be made to your favorite charitable organization on her behalf .
