Carolyn Glass

Carolyn “Sue” Glass, 84, passed away into the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Pikesville, MD.

She was born in Leland, North Carolina on November 30, 1938. She resided most of her life in Pasadena, MD.

Sue loved the Lord and consistently pursued His will for her life. Even during challenging times, she placed her hope in God. She prayed fervently for her children, grandchildren, great -grandchildren, family, and friends. She practiced 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” She was a steadfast woman of God.

Sue will be remembered as a loving and strong mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. “Her children rise up and call her blessed (Proverbs 31:28).” She wishes all to take comfort that in heaven, we will see her again.

Sue was preceded in death by the love of her life, Carolton Glass, her mother, Hilda Lehmann Lennon, and her father, William C. Lennon. She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Rick) Bright of Athens, TN; and her son Carolton (Julie) Glass Jr. of Lutherville-Timonium, MD; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and her wonderful friends lovingly referred to as the “Golden Girls”;

The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the family owned and operated McCully Polniak & Collins Funeral Home 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122. The funeral will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10 am at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122, with a graveside service following at Cedar Hill Cemetery 5829 Ritchie Highway Baltimore, Maryland 21225, with a meal following at Galilee Lutheran Church.
