Charles A "Bud" Nuessle

June 7, 1929 — October 14, 2023

Charles A."Bud" Nuessle was born June 7, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the Late August J and Bertha (Hainke) Nuessle.  Bud served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Betty and only daughter, Sally J. Van Doren;  sisters Doris McCaig & Joan Griffith; nephew David McCaig & niece Ellen Hull Barrett.  He was married for 67 years to the love of his life Mrs. Betty (Hull) Nuessle, they resided in Ellicott City, Maryland.  He is survived by his sister-in-law Phyllis G. Meise; nieces & nephews Maureen Bory (Joe), Iris Wimer (Calvin), Richard Meise (Elizabeth) Laura Herb (Pat) and Melinda Dunker (John); 12 Great nieces & nephews; and 10 Great-Great nieces and nephews.  Bud loved to travel with his wife and daughter. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Ellicott City, Maryland.  Bud initially worked with his father as a plumber.  Then joined Unisys as an engineer eventually retiring in the 1980's. He also started Ellicott Enterprises, a woodworking company during the 1980s. He was a longtime member of the Howard County Wood Workers Guild. He will be dearly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 pm. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
