Racing at the drag strip was a family weekend event as his sons grew and loved the sport also.

Bill was an avid boater and was Commodore of the White Rocks Yacht Club in 2004. He enjoyed cruising the bay, fishing and crabbing and having everyone over for fresh steamed crabs. He was well loved by all.
