On February 3rd, Charles Delmar Swick (Buddy) of Pasadena, Maryland joined the Glory of God’s Kingdom.

Charlie bravely battled several serious health conditions with the same strength he showed throughout his life, but God answered our prayers for healing and called him home to join his son Adam and a host of loved ones.

Charlie was born August 30th 1931 to the late Glenn Swick and Rhoda Wratchford of Petersburg, West Virginia.

Charlie served our Country in Korea as an Army Infantryman. Charlie made his trade in the construction industry specializing in brick and block laying, later assuming the role of Vice President of Swick & Son Maintenance Specialists where his years of experience helped shape the company.

Charlie was wed to his Wife and the love of his life, Elaine Swick (nee Vance) on December 30th 1955. She survives Charlie at their home in Pasadena, Maryland.

Their marriage blessed the family with five children; Pat Schmincke (husband David), Dennis Swick (wife Loretta), Christine Coates (husband Mark), David Swick (Husband Caleb Dunlap) and was preceded in passing by his son Adam (Fiancée Shannon Trebes).

Charlie was blessed with eight grandchildren;  Dennis Swick (DJ) (wife Teresa), Crystal Duncan (husband Scott), Mark Coates, Jr. (wife Stephanie), Ashley Swick (wife Amber), Holly Wheeler (husband David), Brandon Swick, Jordan Swick and Kayla Schmincke.
