Cheryl Lynn Dorman

October 31, 1967 — March 19, 2024

Pasadena

Cheryl L. Dorman, loving mother, friend, sister, and splendid wife, passed away on March 19, 2024 just after nine-o’clock, Tuesday morning. She passed away from a sickness that struck her suddenly, showing its cruel face on Sunday, March 17.

Cheryl Dorman, born October 31, 1967, lived in South Baltimore on Covington Street when she was a child with her family. With her mother, Shirley, and father, Robert, and brother Robert and later her sister, Beth. She went to Good Counsel when she was a kid; where she met the love of her life, David, where she punched him in the arm. She went to Seton High School with some of her best friends. Good memories and good times are all throughout her life.

Working for a carpet store, the Coast Guard, and SSA, she showed her boldness and hardworking skills. As a good boss, she made many colleagues and friends from work who marvel at her qualities. Fate would have it in a magical moment, that Cheryl and David would meet again in a bar called Rumble Fish. In 2004, the couple had their two twin daughters. Cheryl was always determined and strong. She fought everyday even with her cancer diagnosis on December 4, 2020.

Continuing through the hard years of her two twin girls going through struggles of school, she always stayed present and steadfast, ready to face whatever came her way. Her pride and joy, Alyssa and Samantha, were her life. Going to see her children perform, draw, and even just for a hug, Cheryl showed her love and passion for her daughters every single day. Not only just for her daughters, but she showed her love for every family member everyday. Whether through texts, facetime calls, or laughter, Cheryl was the heart of everything. The life of the party, the fire, the spark of life. With many memories with Sharon, Wendy, Mary Jo, and many many others. Going to the beach with Theresa Ferree, Toni and Steve, and Sharon. The wine fests, where Cheryl and Sharon had many memories of fun times and laughs.

Cheryl Dorman was truly a fire that could plan anything and everything. From gift exchanges at Christmas, to entire company parties at work, Cheryl showed her skills yet again at organization. Always the spark.

Cheryl Dorman will always be missed. She will live on in our hearts as the wife, the mother, the sister, and beautiful friend. We love you mom. May you be at peace now.
