Cindy Lu Wengert

Cindy L. Wengert (nee Rolfe) passed away on April 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her passing comes after a two-year battle with cancer which she fought with determination and courage. She was born on November 27, 1962, in Detroit Michigan. She is survived by her loving husband, Frederick (Ricky) Wengert, stepson, Jason Wengert and his wife Kate, granddaughter Emma, sister-in-law Mary Rolfe, nephew John Rolfe, brother Richard Rolfe and his wife Jayne and their family as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Mercedes Rolfe and her brothers, Michael, and David Rolfe. Cindy spent most of her life in Locust Point before settling in Pasadena. She enjoyed traveling having created the Core Travel Group where she organized over 20 trips. She was a founding member of the Belles of Good Council established in 1991 having served as their Treasury for 32 years. She spent a lot of time enjoying the Curtis Bay Athletic Club including assisting her husband in several events including Support the Troops and Lucky 300. Cindy would want everyone to remember the good times and focus on loving life and each other as much as she did. She will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Sunday April 30, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday May 1, 2023 at 11 AM. Cremation to follow.
