Conrad “CJ” Henry Vollmerhausen Jr., 47, of Severn, passed away on June 22, 2025. He was born in Baltimore, MD, to Conrad Vollmerhausen Sr. and Patricia (Uzialko) Richter. CJ grew up in Pasadena, playing ice hockey alongside his younger brother, Walter. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1995. Learning from his grandfather Walter “Lucky” Uzialko, CJ went on to have a long and successful career as a machinist. He was a fun, kind-hearted, and deeply loving man who gave his whole heart to everything he did. His infectious smile and unforgettable laugh could light up any room.
CJ was a proud Freemason at Glen Burnie Lodge 213, becoming a Master Mason in 2012. He enjoyed spending time camping and line dancing with his wife, Lisa. CJ loved building fires that were far too big, as well as hunting, crabbing, and fishing with his son, Travis. More than anything, CJ was devoted to his family. He was a loving father and a proud grandfather who cherished every moment with his children and his first grandchild, Theo. He was filled with excitement and joy for the arrival of his second grandson, Jace. Though he passed before getting to meet him, there is no doubt his love for him was already deep and unwavering.
CJ is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Vollmerhausen; his parents, Conrad (Carol) Vollmerhausen and Patricia Richter; his children, Jessica, Kayla, Travis, and Annie Grace “Gracie”; his grandchildren, Theodore Ryker Knotts and Jace Oliver Henry Vollmerhausen; his siblings, Walter (Jennifer), Charles, Chris (Amanda), and Grant (Ashley); and many more beloved family members and friends. CJ will be remembered as a big kid at heart, bringing fun and laughter into every room, while also being the guy you could count on no matter what. His memory will live on in every story shared and in the hearts of those who loved him.
