Dan was born in Pasadena Maryland on February 27th 1965 to Robert and Nancy Garrett. Dan is survived by his son DJ Garrett, his mother Nancy Garrett, and sister Dawn Dorr. Dan unexpectedly passed away on April 21st 2022, joining his beloved father Robert Garrett and brother Scott Garrett in heaven. He graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1983 and immediately joined the Air Force Reserves.
Dan was a auto body mechanic by trade, enjoyed helping his son with late model racing, and spending time with his dogs in which he rescued from shelters to give them the love they deserved. In his younger years Dan enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, racing late model cars, working and challenging himself and spending time with his friends and family.
Dan will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 7pm. Cremation services to follow
