Doris W. Williams (Nee Wissmann) beloved wife of the late John G. Williams, devoted mother of the late Richard Norwood and Patricia Brummett, dear sister of Helen Airey, loving grandmother of Rodger Brummett, Kelly Cerruti, Brian Brummett, Steven Norwood and Tricia Collins. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Doris was born in Maryland on September 27, 1924, to her parents William and Margaret Wissmann and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on February 3, 2022.
Mrs. Williams was a Pasadena resident for 47 years, she worked as a clerical supervisor for the State Department of Assessment and Taxation for 5 years retiring in 1989, she was a member of the LWML of Galilee Lutheran Church, Magothy-Chelsea Seniors Club and the Pasadena Seniors. She enjoyed puzzles, sudoku and computers
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Thursday, February 10, 2022, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Mrs. Williams will lie in state in the Galilee Lutheran Church 4652 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 10:30 to 11 am at which time funeral services will be held. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Galilee Lutheran Church.
