Earl Brinkmeyer

Earl Alfred Brinkmeyer -Born to Edwin Brinkmeyer & Frances Clarke December 3, 1933 to January 4, 2022 raised in Lansdown Md. Later settled in Pasadena Md. Where he has lived for 48 years. Earl passed away at home surrounded by his family.

Earl is survived by his loving wife Theresa Brinkmeyer married for 21 years. Preceded in death by Joyce Brinkmeyer whom he was with for 37 years and seven sisters and brothers.

Father to Daughter Donna Brinkmeyer and Son Gregory Brinkmeyer (Doreen). Step Sons JR Lawson (Denise) and Timothy Lawson (Emilie), Step Daughters Tabitha Fleming (Charlie) and Rada Smith (Chris).

Grandfather of Ashly Robinson, Stacey Schmidt (Jody), Jessica Brinkmeyer, Matthew Brinkmeyer, Kelly Lawson, Jordan Short, Robbie Fleming, Brandon Lawson, Nathan Fleming, April Miller, Xander Lawson, Maisie Lawson and Christian Smith (whom he adopted into the family).

Great Grandfather of Calbe Robinson, Arie Robinson, Jaxon Fleming and Cody Smith and Lucie is expected around April 3,  2022.

Earl is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Earl worked at the Baltimore Sales Book as a printer and later moved on to the Baltimore Sun paper as a machinist on the Linotype machines. When computers replaced the linotype machine’s he worked in the composing room where he set the print for the news paper and sent it on to be printed. Earl remembered every person he worked with and has been a member of the printer’s union 101-12 for over 40 years.

Earl loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings, and had numerous hobbies which included camping, fishing, crabbing, bowling, reading, planting flowers and fixing things that broke. Some of his favorite activities included shooting pool at the Senior Center, weekly trips to the library, and going to the park with the dog and grandchildren.

Earl was also a sports fanatic who loved his Orioles, Ravens and Terps. He was also a huge supporter of his grandchildren’s wrestling ,football and bowling teams. He was known as Pop to so many of the other athletes and Coaches.

Earl will be missed deeply and will be remembered for all the stories he shared about his long and full life.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Thursday, January 13, 2022, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
