Liz was born on June 23, 1984, at 6:37 pm in New Bedford, MA. She grew up in New Bedford, lived a short time in St. Petersburg, FL, and then moved to Linthicum Heights, MD, where she attended North County High School, was in lit mag and played volleyball, and graduated in 2002.
In 2004, Liz met her husband Lee and they moved their family to Wilmington, NC. While in NC, Liz earned her Associates degree in Business and Marketing. She worked as an administrative assistant and customer liaison. She provided inventory management, customer care, database administration, organized fundraising events, marketing support, and project/program management.
In early 2012, they moved back to Maryland. There Liz worked on building her own business creating jewelry, artwork, and refurbishing furniture. She worked hard to make every piece unique and special for her friends, family, and costumers.
Liz loved life. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Liz adored her beloved sons, Gabe and Michael. They spent time together making art and silly videos, playing video games, or just laughing and joking around. They were her pride and joy.
She loved listening to all types of music and played the guitar. Her favorite band was Blue October and Tool. She loved cooking and playing Call of Duty and Magic the Gathering. Her favorite movie was “The Nightmare before Christmas and The Little Mermaid. Her favorite football team was The Dallas Cowboys. Liz adored New York City: She was a city girl. Her favorite play was “RENT.”
Liz’s smile could light up a room. She loved to laugh and make everyone laugh. She was the best story teller and always had one to share. She once had us laughing so hard the family was kicked out of a restaurant because she could make you laugh so hard you could breathe. Liz would want you to keep laughing in her memory.
To honor Liz, the family is asking everyone to wear something with a little red at the service. She always dyed her hair a little red and we think she would have liked to see it.
