On November 24, 2010, ERNEST E. "BROCK" BRAUCKHOFF; age 91, born December 2, 1918; retired from the Mass Transit Administration; and longtime resident of South Baltimore. Beloved husband of the late Ruth V. Brauckhoff (nee Umphlette); devoted father of Thomas E. Brauckhoff and his wife Lorraine; Ernest W. Brauckhoff and his wife Judith, Robert F. Brauckhoff and his wife Pat, Gilbert Brauckhoff and his wife Virginia, and Raymond Brauckhoff and his wife Melvina; loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Ave. (Brooklyn) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where prayers will be held on Monday at 11 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
