Darnell, III, Frederick W. On Sunday December 12, 2021, 78 of Baltimore. Beloved husband of 55 years to Linda Lee Darnell; Devoted father of David Frederick Darnell and Mark Christopher Darnell.

Born on June 18, 1943, Frederick was married to his teenage sweetheart for 55 years. He was a devoted and loving father who cared deeply for his family and country.

Frederick proudly served his country in the Maryland Army National Guard for six years. While working as a Draftsman for 30 years and a seafood manager at a local grocery store in his remaining career, Frederick enjoyed working with his hands, fashioning leather into everyday things such as wallets and pictures. He also enjoyed building models of ships and other items in his later years.

Frederick also was a faithful member of Anchor Baptist Church for over 20 years where he served as Usher. His other interests included rooting for his favorite team the Orioles and watching NASCAR.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Thursday December 16, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday December 17, 2021 at 11 AM at Anchor Baptist Church 320 West Pasadena Road Millersville, Maryland 21108. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
