Frederick S. Scheydt passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024. Frederick was born on February 8, 1928, in Baltimore, MD to the late Edgar and Ida Scheydt. He honorably served in the US Navy and is a WWII veteran. He later became a welder at Domino Sugar in Baltimore where he worked for 43 years. Frederick was a beloved grandfather and great grandfather and loved nothing more than spending time with all of them. He was a handy man who loved to tinker with things around the house and an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his late wife Geraldine and his second wife of fifty years Mildred Scheydt, and his siblings, Audrey, Wilbur, Ronald and Anelda.
Frederick is survived by his children, Frederick Scheydt Jr, Cindy Brucksch (Robert Dunnigan), and Craig Schedyt, his stepdaughter Michele (Eric) Braun his grandchildren, Jimmy Brucksch, Kimberly (Kerah) Miller-Brucksch, Randee (Justin) Alt, Alex (Jarred) Reusing, and Toni Braun as well as 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P. A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
