The family of Gerald Barnes of Halethorpe, Maryland is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at the age of 83.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Patricia Langley and husband James, Richard Barnes and wife Marilyn, Steven Barnes and wife Sarah; grandchildren; Lauren Milburn and husband Matthew, Patrick Berry, Jr. and wife Madeleine, Jessica Arp, Matthew Barnes, and Caleb Barnes; great grandchildren; Allison Grace Milburn, William James Milburn, Larue Langley Berry, and Patrick Matthew Berry III; brothers, the late Freddy Krueger, Kenny Krueger; sisters, Carlene Krueger, Sandra Curioni, Mildred Saunders, and Beverly Dodson.
He will also be dearly missed by his many friends from Kessler Park and the surrounding community.
Gerald was born to the late Monica Kowalewski, and the late Stephen Bernadzikowski in Baltimore, Maryland where he spent much of his life. All his friends and family referred to him as “Butch”. Throughout his life, he took pride in his work with tile installation, enjoyed sports (specifically baseball), bowling, and spending time with family and friends. He proudly served ten years in the Army National Guard. In the early 1960’s he met and married Gloria Mudd and had three children.
