Gerard “Jerry” Myers, a beloved father, Pop-Pop, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Greensboro, Maryland, at the age of 78. Born on November 29, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jerry lived a life rooted in dedication to his family, a strong work ethic, and a deep love of the outdoors.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Magdalen Myers, and his sisters Theresa Jones, Lynn Pirrera, and Gloria Manges. He is survived by his loving children, Kari Michael (husband Edward), Bradley Myers, and Laurie Myers; his adored grandchildren, Delaney, Leighton, and Coen Michael; and his sister, Mary McCann.

A devoted family man, Jerry’s greatest joy came from time spent with his children and grandchildren. Being “Pop-Pop” was one of his proudest roles, and he treasured every visit, photograph, and keepsake connected to them. He traveled often to be near his grandchildren and took immense pride in watching them grow. Jerry also loved cooking and bringing his family together. These shared meals and time spent together created lasting memories that will be deeply cherished.

Jerry had a lifelong passion for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and reflect his patient, steady approach to life. Known for his hardworking nature and practical skills, Jerry could fix just about anything. He was dependable, resourceful, and always willing to lend a hand. Friends and family knew they could count on him, and he offered help freely, guided by genuine care for others.

Strong-willed and independent, Jerry faced life with determination and quiet strength. Beneath that resolve was a generous heart, deep loyalty, and an enduring love for those closest to him. Jerry will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his kindness, and the steady presence he provided to so many. His legacy of love and integrity lives through his children, his grandchildren, and all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, 6:00 to 7:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm.
