George Edward Beall, Sr. 9/17/1933 - 6/23/2025

Surrounded by his loving family, in his Pasadena home, George Edward Beall, Sr. peacefully departed this life on June 23, 2025. George was born on September 17, 1933 in Severna Park, Maryland to the late Madeline M. Barnes and William F. Beall. He worked for the family business digging wells and plastering until he was drafted in 1953. He served honorably as a United States Army medic during the Korean War. After his service he returned home to Severna Park, where he met his beloved wife of 63 years, Lucy. They married on December 22, 1957, at the Pasadena United Methodist Church and had two children, Brenda Lee, and the late George, Jr. (Georgie). Never one to sit still for long, he spent 60 years working in the building and maintenance trades until he finally retired in 2014 at 81 years old. George loved spending time with his friends and family and could often be found with them watching NASCAR races, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, or attending one of his grand/great-grandchildren’s school concerts or sports games.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed traveling across the country camping, fishing, crabbing, boating, and hunting with his beagles Bunny, Mac, Mitsy, and Molly. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars in his garage and taking things apart and putting them back together, just to see how they worked. After retirement, he stayed active by walking the bike trail with Lucy and their loyal pup, Boser. George was a lover of all animals and regularly fed what seemed like all the birds and squirrels in Pasadena. You could often find him on his porch hand feeding peanuts to his favorite squirrel, Petey. George will be fondly remembered for his quiet kindness, the fierce love he had for his family, and his immeasurable strength.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucy; his precious son, Georgie; his loving sister, Sissy, dear brother, Billy; and his grandson, Dustin (Damien). George is survived by his dear brother, Robert (Janet); loving daughter, Brenda, and son-in-law, David; his cherished grandchildren, Candace (Adam), Deanna (Chris), Chad, and Chris (Kayleigh); his treasured great-grandchildren Trinity, Kyden, Malia, Jacob, and Lauren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
