Glenda Helene Brewer

December 4, 1949 — October 24, 2023

Pasadena

Glenda Brewer, loving and devoted wife of 56 years and mother of four, grandmother of ten, at the age of 73 experienced one final change of address as she entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023.

Glenda was born on December 4, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland. Glenda has resided in Pasadena, Maryland for the last 39 years.

"Glenda was a faithful, humble, loving, caring, kind, and giving woman with a sweet spirit. Her life and legacy were living and working for the Lord which is a testimony to us," her family said.

Glenda was a prayer warrior who loved and served the Lord all her life. Her life has been a blessing to us, and we will always remember her famous words "Keep your eyes on Jesus."

She adored her husband with whom she had a wonderful life and a fantastic love story. They prayed together, they read the word of God together, and attended church services together, which brought them closer to each other.

She was the heartbeat of her family and a great cook. Any restaurant would have loved to serve her meals, but she saved this gift for her family.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband, John, their children Stacey Kohlmann (Kevin), Wendy Lembach (Michael), Nicole Brewer-Schultz(Kirk), John V. Brewer (Amanda); ten grandchildren, Noah, Nickolas, Ava, Morgan, Emily, Johnny, Jase, Abel, Dakota, and Mikaela; brothers Morgan Jay Crossney (Debbie), Joe Crossney (Linda); nephews Josh Crossney, Christian Crossney and his daughter Avery, Joe Crossney, Scott Crossney, and her furry companion, Boomer. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends whom she dearly loved.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Helene Jory; mother, Dolores Black; and her father, Elmer Crossney.

Glenda always lived by the golden rule: Treat others the way you would like to be treated. The family would like to ask you to do a loving act of kindness, make someone laugh, send a card, give a hug, or say "I love you" to someone, in her memory.

Our angel lived, laughed and loved!
