Grandford "Bill" Locklear, Jr.

Grandford “Bill” Locklear Jr, survived by his wife Deborah Locklear of almost 38 years. His children Russell Dillsworth, Grandford Locklear III, Julie Locklear, Danielle Folker, Billiejean Locklear, Carl Bass and Lauren Bass. Mark Smith III his great-nephew whom he raised.

He was Pop-pop to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alycia Locklear and her daughters Malaya and Aurora. Sierra McCadden and her children Nova and Aiden. Daniel Locklear Jr, Joshua Locklear and his sons Jonah and Elias. MiKayla Church and her daughter Nyla, Samara Usta and her daughter Kiori, Leyah Usta. Erika Folker and her daughter Wrenley, Aliyah Folker. Devon Farfaras, Isaiah Johnson, Bohdi Sias, Willow Sias, Journey Sias. Aubrey Bass, Zachary Bass. Tristan Wilson, Mackenzie Wilson, Joclynn Schwartzman, Kaleah Moore.

He is also survived by his sisters Gennie Scarff, Gay Bennett, Peggy Mazurek. With lots of nieces, nephews and extended family members who loved and adored him.

Bill was born on January 7, 1955, to the late Granford “Pete” Locklear and Zola “Jean” Fitzcharles. He was a self-taught carpenter his whole life. He was raised by his grandmother Estelle Hammonds-Capps in Lumberton, NC.

He is proceeded in death by his son Daniel Locklear Sr, as well as his siblings Lester Ray Locklear, Betty Jean Locklear, Johnny Locklear, Janice Smith and Glenn Locklear. Also, his mother and father-in-law Judy and John Martin.

We take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. He will be greatly missed and loved by many.
