Harry W Kunze, III

Harry W. Kunze, III, a resident of Pasadena, Maryland, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 20, 1959, he was the cherished son of the late Harry W. Kunze, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Kunze (Oldewurtel).

Harry was the fourth of nine siblings. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Karen Kunze (Jones); his children, Patricia, Christopher, Jennifer (Chorye), Timothy (Nicole), and Brittany (David); his grandchildren, Blake, Faith, Kaylee, Layla, Makenzi, Payton, Haley, Caleb, Christopher, Gunner, Colton, and William; and his great-grandson, Braxton. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary, Patricia (Bob), Shawn (Tom), Robert (Claudia), Victor (Cyndi), Anthony (Sue), and Eric. He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Harry W. Kunze, IV; and his brother, Lawrence Kunze.

A loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Harry was also a beloved husband, protector, and provider. He dedicated his career to the United States Department of Agriculture and was also the proprietor of a security company. He deeply cherished his canine companion, Levi. His interests included fishing, crabbing, playing poker, spending time with family, bowling, watching movies, appreciating dark humor and crime documentaries, and enthusiastically playing the lottery.

Harry was most certainly known for always having an ice cold can of Pepsi and making you belly laugh with his dark one-liners. We will carry him in our hearts and memories forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P. A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, May 18, 2025, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in the St Jane Frances Church 8499 Virginia Avenue PASADENA on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 am. Cremation services to follow.
