Hella Grayson

With deep sorrow and much love, the family of Hella Grayson mourns the passing of Hella Rosa Grayson of Pasadena, MD, on December 23, 2022, at age 92.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mike Quint, Jr. (Beverly), Patrice Sadler (James), and Colonel Marcus Quint (Jackie); her stepchildren, Jeff Grayson (Tina), Nancy Grayson, and Gary Grayson (​Lynn); her eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Commander Myron "Mike" Grayson; her former husband, Lieutenant Colonel Mike Quint; and her mother, Hedwig Hammerl.
Hella was born in Rankweil, Austria and moved to the United States with her husband and first child in 1957.  Over the next 20 years, she raised three children, worked, and moved frequently as a military wife, before settling in Northern Virginia, where she prospered as a real estate broker.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Friday December 30, 2022 from 5-8 PM Only. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 31,2022 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, Maryland 21146. Hella will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a time and date to be announced.
