Henry Redmond, Jr.

Henry Hill Redmond Jr., 82, of Riviera Beach, passed away peacefully on November 10th, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Redmond (née Ownes), beloved father of  Kathy Wentz (née Redmond) and her husband Michael Wentz, and Eileen Liddy (née Redmond) and four grandchildren who were the apple of his eye; Taylor Liddy, Michael Liddy, Kayla Wentz and Megan Wentz. He is preceded in death by his Mother Agnes (Whyte) Redmond, his father Henry Hill Redmond Sr. and his brother David J.  Redmond.

Henry Hill Redmond Jr. was born on December 13th, 1936 in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania to the late Henry and Agnes (Whyte) Redmond. He attended Germantown High School in Philadelphia and spent his free time in a Drum and Bugel Corp. On September 18th, 1958, he married Carol Ann Owens in Elkton, Maryland. Henry served in the Army from 1960-1966 including a tour in Augsburg, Germany during the Cold War. Upon returning Henry lived in Wyndmoor and Hatboro Pennsylvania where he raised a  family with Carol and worked as a pump assembler at Milton Roy for 33 years. He retired in 1999 and spend most of his retired years in Annapolis, Maryland. He spent his free time traveling, cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles, watching NASCAR and spending time with his beloved family.

Family and friends are invited to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, Maryland 21146 on Monday November 18, 2019 from 12-1 PM for visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated beginning at 1 PM. Interment Crownsville Veteran Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, Maryland 21032.
