With hearts full of love and unimaginable sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved baby boy, Hugo Nathaniel Kriewald, who was born into the arms of our Savior on July 11, 2025.
Though his time with us was brief, Hugo’s presence left an eternal imprint on our hearts. His name was chosen with deep meaning: Hugo, meaning "heart, mind, and soul," reflects the precious parts of ourselves that he now carries with him; and Nathaniel, meaning "gift from God," is a tribute to the blessing he was and will always be to our family.
He is cherished and forever loved by his parents, Brian and Melody Kriewald, and his older siblings, Harmony, Herschel, and Hayden, who were all eager to welcome him into their world. Hugo is also deeply loved and remembered by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were filled with joyful anticipation of his arrival and now hold him tenderly in their hearts. Our love for him reaches beyond time and will remain a part of his lasting legacy.
In the quiet moments ahead, our family will gather privately to honor and remember Hugo. As we begin the journey of healing, we kindly ask for privacy while we grieve the loss of our beautiful son.
In lieu of flowers, and for those who feel led, donations may be made in Hugo’s name to the Clark Memphis Foundation, whose compassionate support has meant the world to us during this deeply difficult time.
Forever in our hearts,Our sweet Hugo – the gift we’ll never stop loving.
