James Hunter Bricker

November 29, 1970 — August 5, 2025

James Hunter Bricker Sr. (Jim), passed unexpectedly at the age of 54, on Tuesday August 5th. He was born on November 29th 1970 and lived in Pasadena, MD most of his life.

Jim is survived and missed by his loving wife Deborah Joyce Bricker (Lauer); his son James Hunter Bricker Jr.; step daughters Alexa Breidenbach, Skyler Breidenbach. Forever cherished and remembered by his mother, Bernadine Candace Bricker (Allison), and 2 sisters Donna McDermott, and Stacey Rook, and brother in law John Rook. Along with his 2 nieces and 2 nephews Mark McDermott, Rebecca Rook, Donald James Rook, and Sarah McDermott. Jim’s memory lives on with his 5 grandchildren Lj Evans, Brantley Evans, Storm Remery, Tatum Evans, and Lainey Remery. Along with his godson Hunter Lauer.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Donald Maxwell Bricker.

When Jim wasn’t spending time with his wife, Debbie, you could find him fishing with his son, grandkids and godson during his free time. Jim loved his family and it showed every single day. He was always exploring the outdoors and often doing his best to make people laugh - if you forgot to say hello to Jim, he’d make sure he said hello to you. Jim was funny, full of life, and always willing to help anyone in need - never expecting anything in return. Jim will forever be missed by his family and friends, but his passion for life and the importance of family will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday, August 15, 2025, 5:00 to 7:30 pm. A Memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm.
