James Cornelius Hourihane, Jr.

James Cornelius Hourihane, Jr., age 90, passed away on August 26, 2024, in Severna Park, Maryland. Jim was born in Manilla, Philippines on September 14,1933. He graduated from Jacksonville University in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Jim married the love of his life Carolyn Sue Miller on November 26,1977; they were married 46 years. Jim had many air quality assurance positions across the country and retired from the State of Maryland. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James Hourihane, Sr. and Rita Garcia Hourihane, his wife Carolyn, and his brother Stephen. Jim is survived by his sister Lori Hourihane Reese (Brian), his brothers Michael Hourihane (Teri) and Patrick Hourihane (Lynette) and son Sean McKinley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and family are invited to visit at the family owned and operated McCully, Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD on Friday, August 30 from 9am-10am. Pastor John F. Collins, Sr. will be officiating the funeral service at 10am. Burial will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Park at 11am.
