James Knisely "Jim"

James (Jim) Knisely age 69, passed away peacefully on January 13th 2024. Born in Destin, FL and lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and finally back to Florida. 

Survived by his wife Jude Knisely (Bonos), daughter Krista Davis (Josh), sons Jaime Knisely, Josh Leh and Zachary Leh. He also had canines Jax and Juneau who he loved so much. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Rose and Tom Hockenberry. His sister Cheryl Brunelle and his beloved brother-in-law Craig Brunelle, nieces and nephew Krystal Knisely, Sarah Malicoat and Craig Brunelle II and other family members. He is proceeded in death by his brother Kenneth (Kenny) Knisely. 

Jim spent his working years in construction with Arundel Engineering, Heery International and finally Monteith before “officially” retiring in 2017. 

He spent his free time fishing, boating, camping, and watching his beloved Baltimore Ravens. He especially loved travelling which included a trip around the world, camping in the RV around the USA and most recently an amazing bucket list trip travelling in their RV to Alaska for 4 months. 

Jim was loved by so many people and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. Jim will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to the family owned and operated McCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Saturday February 10, 2024 from 12 to 1:30 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM. Interment Private.
