Janice E Edwards

On July 1, 2026, Janice Ellen Edwards (née McCauley) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side. She was 65 years old. Janice was born to Joseph and Virginia (Moyd) McCauley.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, and she held her family at the center of her life. Janice found joy in the simple things—cooking, baking, and crocheting—and she was happiest when she was near the water. Boating, fishing, and crabbing were among her favorite pastimes.

Above all else, Janice loved her grandchildren deeply and cherished every moment with them. She was known to many as the “neighborhood mom,” a title that reflected her generous spirit and open heart. She not only raised her three sons but also extended her care and guidance to many others, always offering kindness, comfort, and a welcoming home to anyone in need.

She is survived by her three sons, Scott (Scoot) Edwards, Jeremy Edwards, and Jeffry Edwards; her daughter-in-law, Sarah Edwards; and her beloved grandchildren, Kaidence Edwards, Jeremy Edwards, Gracie Edwards, and Quinn Edwards. She is also survived by her sisters and brother, Pam (and husband Bill), Joey (and wife Linda), and Sharon (and husband Rob), as well as many loving nieces and nephews: Jen (and husband Ryan), Rob (and wife Bobbie), Erin (and husband Rob), Becca (and husband Jody), Nathan (and wife Karin), and Timothy (Tim).

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Edwards; her brother, Mikey; and her nephew, Daniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Thursday, July 16, 2026, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday at 12:00 noon.
