JEAN CAROLYN QUASNEY a lifelong resident of Maryland went to be with our Lord on Thursday January 7,2021. Born on October 1,1933 to Leonard S. Rowe and Violet G. Rowe , she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (“ Nana” ), aunt and friend. Jean graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore, Maryland in 1951 and shortly thereafter on July 8, 1951 married the love of her life Albert Reese Quasney ( “Al”, “Dad”, and “Pop”) , to whom she remained married until he preceded her in death on June 21, 1993. She was hopelessly devoted to him for the remainder of her earthly existence and now rests with him in the presence of our Lord. Jean is survived by her sons Leonard N. Quasney and his spouse Patricia D. Quasney ( “Trish” ) of Big Pine Key, Florida; Daniel W. Quasney and his spouse Patricia A. Quasney (“ Patty” ) of Odenton, Maryland, and Kurt A. Quasney and his spouse Louise C.Quasney of Saint Cloud, Florida ; her grandchildren Gabriel T. Quasney, Kurt A. Quasney, Jr., Patrick C. Quasney, Misty D. Quasney, Benjamin A. Quasney, Nicholas E. Bellamio, Joshua M. Bellamio and Jesse L. Bellamio ; and her great grandchildren Anthony Quasney, Camden Quasney and Joslyn Quasney. Jean’s kind, generous, energetic welcoming and loving spirit impacted all who encountered her. Jean spent her final years being cared for and loved by the wonderful owners and caretakers at the Household of Angels Assisted Living Facility in Severna Park , Maryland , each of whom were dear to her.
