Jeffrey L Kecken

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Lee Kecken, age 82, of Pasadena, MD, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at Genisis Healthcare in Gettysburg, PA. Jeff was born on May 3, 1943, in Baltimore, MD to Robert and Belle Kecken. He grew up in Southwest Baltimore, where he and his brothers Dennis and Randy enjoyed working on cars. Jeff is survived by his brother Randy, his sons and daughters in law Jason and Carol and Damon and Melissa, four grandchildren Damon Jr., Joe, Kevin and Joanie, and five great grandchildren, Rosemary, Joey, Colton, Viviana, and Cole. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30 years Colleen Kecken, his brother Dennis Kecken, and his parents Robert and Belle Kecken. Jeff is a veteran of the US Army. He was drafted in 1963 and served in the Aviation unit stationed in Germany in 1965-1966 where he was a helicopter mechanic during the cold war era of the Vietnam war. After he returned home, he met and married the love of his life Colleen. They remained happily married until her death in August of 2000. Jeff worked for 30+ year in the oil industry as a pumper/gauger for Hess and Amoco Oil Companies. After his retirement he worked for Anne Arundel County as a ground's keeper at Downs Park and at North Arundel Hospital. 

Family and friends are invited to the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11am to 1 pm at which time a memorial service will be held, followed by graveside service at Loudon Park Cemetery.
