John Duncan, Jr.

John Franklin Duncan, 56, died suddenly on March 15th, 2019 at his home in Baltimore, Maryland.  He was born May 1st 1962, to the late John Franklin and Kathleen Duncan.

John graduated from Southern High School, enlisted in the Navy and went on to be a General Contractor, where he renovated multiple homes in Baltimore City.  He could build, repair, or renovate just about any home or machine.  He had a love for hunting, gaming, and cared for many types of animals from the domestic cat to the exotic.

John married the love of his life, Debbie Scranton, and they settled in Baltimore City for the next 33 years where they raised three wonderful children; Tiffanie, John, and Kyle,  along with the close relationship he shared with his son in law Josh.  John had  three loving grandchildren; Ava Grace, Liam Franklin and Jerry whom he treasured.

He is survived by his sister Victoria Cavey, brother in law Clifton Cavey and brother Robert Duncan. He had a special bond with his cousin Richard Wilson and lifelong friend Jimmy Steinhice.  He left behind many other nieces, nephews and cousins as well.

He will be missed beyond measure for he was truly  one of kind! Our hearts and memories are forever engraved with the love he gave and special times we shared, especially at Ocean City. Life will never be the same without him.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Wednesday March 20, 2019 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Thursday March 21, 2019 from 10 AM until 1 PM. Where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Cremation to follow.
