John worked for Quebecor in Glen Burnie as a printing press operator as well as worked as a truck/trailer repair mechanic.John’s passion was anything related to the Chesapeake Bay - boating, fishing and more fishing, and crabbing with his family and his best fishing buddy, Dave. John had a great sense of humor and could tell a “whale” of a fish story! He loved to make you laugh! John also shared his heart by his love and generosity to his family. John was a loving father, brother and Uncle John to his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed.John is survived by his son, William Matthews; Robert Matthews ( Diane), Karen Bugg (Jim), Debra O'Brien, Linda Hill (Dave), Daniel Matthews and many extended family members and friends.
