John D Raulin, Sr.

John Donald Raulin Sr. (57) originally of Edgewater, Maryland and born on January 8th,1968 passed away unexpectedly on January 2nd, 2026. He is survived by his two children, John Donald Raulin Jr. (Brittney) and Leanna Brittany Prager (Adam), and by his four grandchildren, Rowan Rae Raulin, Parker Josie Raulin, Killian Troy Prager, and Huxley Atreyus Prager. He is also survived by his parents, Donald and Patricia Raulin, and his brother Joshua Raulin (Jennifer), sister Stacey Ehlers (Fred) as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. He is preceded by his mother Susan Barge, his brothers Joseph Raulin and Christopher Hall.

John was a person who cared deeply for everyone he met. He had a generous heart and a welcoming spirit, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. While for many years he found himself working often and building great success, he also found true joy on the water, whether captaining his boat or sharing a day of fishing with family and friends. He also loved carpentry and building things, taking pride in crafting with his hands and lending a hand on home projects. He also loved watching movies and enjoyed all things with lighthouses—be it the coastal imagery, lighthouse lore, or the charm of a seaside beacon. His warmth and laughter brightened every gathering, and he was happiest when he was with his loved ones. Those who knew him are invited to cherish the memories they shared—the smiles, the stories, and the moments of your memories that embodied who he was.

May his memory live on in the love he gave so freely and in the many lives he touched.
