Kathleen Patricia Farasy passed away at home on September 23, 2023, surrounded in love by her family. She is survived by her loving husband Tom of 56 years, her daughter Elizabeth L'Esperance and her husband Jim, her son Michael and his wife Kelly, her son Brian and his wife Tracy, her daughter-in-law Julie, and her six grandchildren, Mason, Mackenzie, Addison, Avery, Eden and Nate. She is now in heaven with her youngest son Matt. After raising four children, she went to the University of Maryland and got her degree in costume design. She later designed for Olney Theatre, Arena Stage, the Kennedy Center, and the Shakespeare Theatre, just to name a few. She was a background actor and acted at local medical teaching universities offering students live doctor/patient protocols. She waged a strong battle in her final chapter without complaint, and she was loved by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue to 9 pm following services. Graveside services and Interment will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, Maryland on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 10 am.
