Kenneth Hanson, Sr.

Kenneth James Hanson, Sr. "Ken" passed away on December 23, 2019. Beloved husband of Catherine E. Hanson; devoted father of Kenneth J. Hanson, Jr. and wife Gina, Thomas P. Hanson and wife Christina, Bert W. Hanson and wife Jessica; dear grandfather of Kenneth J. Hanson III, Thomas P. Hanson, Jr., Kelsey Hanson, Tyler Hanson, Jacob Hanson, Kyle Hanson and Joshua Hanson; great grand-father of Kaleb Hanson; loving brother of Theodore Clark, Rebecca Gillespie, Daniel Clark, Rachel "Jo Jo" Kleiser, Richard Clark and William Clark.

Ken proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a Vietnam Combat Veteran from 1969-1973. He was awarded the Purple Heart. During his time in the military he also guarded the president at NATO. Ken was employed at BGE for over 31 years before retiring in June 2007. He loved his family very much and will be dearly missed by all.

Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at 10 AM. Interment Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.
