Lance O. Anthony

MLance Oliver Anthony of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away on January 9, 2026.

Lance was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 26, 1970.  He graduated from Northeast High School and continued to receive a bachelor's degree in education.

Lance was married to Shelley Anthony on December 8, 1995; they were married 30 years.

Lance enjoyed watching sports, especially his Florida State Seminoles. He also enjoyed coaching, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.  

Lance is survived by his wife, Shelley and three children; Destiny Parrish, her husband John Parrish; Katlyn Anthony and her fiancé Tylor Riley; Austin Anthony and his fiancé Savannah Dooms; his grandchildren, Ethan Parrish, Ensely Parrish, Jackson Schlick and Asher Schlick; his sister Sherae Lonick her husband Charles Lonick; his brother Yancy Anthony and his wife Natalie Schultz Anthony, and other family and friends.

Lance is preceded in death by his parent John and Wendy Anthony.

Family and friends are invited to visit the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Thursday February 5, 2026, and Friday February 6, 2026, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday February 6, 2026, at 4 PM.
