Leon A. Malinowski, Sr.

Leon A. Malinowski, Sr. "Lee" passed away on March 22, 2026. Devoted father of Leon A. Malinowski, Jr., Sherri Dembinsky (Mark), Dorothy Malinowski and Juanita Wheeler (Earl III); loving grandchildren Zackary Malinowski, Dylan Malinowski, Matthew Malinowski, Samantha Dembinsky, Elizabeth Holt, Kayla Holt, Jacob Wheeler and Ethan Wheeler. Close family friend Matt Ernest who he had breakfast with every Sunday. 

Lee was born and raised in Pasadena, Maryland. He served our country in the United States Navy. Later he began a 60 plus year position at Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department serving as Chief. He also worked for and retired from BGE. He was very respected by everyone; he dedicated his life to serving others always putting his family first. 

In his spare time he loved baseball, NASCAR, cooking shows and his most favorite his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to visit the family owned and operated McCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Wednesday April 1, 2026 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Where a funeral will be held on Thursday April 2, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
