Leonard Stanley Wrzesinski, JR died at home in Pasadena on Monday, Sep 23,2019 surrounded by the Love of his Family and Friends after diagnosed Sep 13 with Cancer. Leonard was previously convalescing at home from debilitating stroke of January 2013. Leonard was born at home on Reece Rd in Severn, MD on January 1,1948. Leonard lived in Anne Arundel County all his life except when serving in the United States Navy from Feb 1967
to Jul 1970 which included one in-country tour of duty in Vietnam from Jul 1969-Jul 1970. An Assembler, Leonard worked at the General Motors Plant, Broening Hwy, Baltimore, MD until his retirement January 1, 1997. As a Grandson of 2 Farming families in Arundel Arundel County, Leonard had a green thumb and maintained a massive vegetable garden every year. Referred to by our Godchildren as Captain Chesapeake, Leonard enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay with hobbies of fishing and crabbing. His craft of sailor knots was a skill. Home maintenance chores were always priority and Leonard did not end a day without everything working as it should. Leonard lived his Life with love for his Family, God and Country, Leonard is survived by his wife of 48 years Roberta Candace (née Rexford) Wrzesinski; their daughter Shawn Ann Andrews, son-in-law David Andrews and 5 grandchildren Paige
Gibson, Ryder, Landen, Jaylen & Jordan Andrews; Also his sister Barbara (Kenneth) Waddell and his brother by a different mother/father William Glenn Forney (Nancy). Leonard is predeceased by his parents Leonard Stanley SR (1987), Clara Dorothy (née Milwicz) (2004) Wrzesinski, & sisters Helen Spangler (1991) and Dorothy Wynne (1998). Pallbearers: Dave Andrews, Mike Rexford, Jacob Forney, Mark Spangler, Gary Spangler and
Eric Spangler.


Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Monday September 30, 2019 at 10 AM by Pastor Bradley Howdershelt of New Life Family Worship Center, Philippi, WV. Interment Crownsville Veteran Cemetery. . In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in the name of Leonard Stanley Wrzesinski, Jr. to Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122.
