She had worked at Diamond International in Baltimore before moving to the County and worked at Omni maintenance. As she often said, she retired and became a full time Oma from the day her first grandchild was born. In addition, she and her loving husband enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She also spent many years playing bingo at Earleigh Heights Fire Department and loved to spend time making crafts and candy for others to enjoy.
She loved nothing more than to spend time with her family especially while with going out to eat at local restaurants. She was the most generous person who loved to help however she could.
For the past eight years, she had fought lung cancer. She had gone through treatments starting back in 2017 and had lived many good years until the reoccurrence in 2024. She fought long and hard!
The Tate Center in Glen Burnie provided her with loving treatment and care, and she made many friends with the Doctor and Nurses there.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Tate Center of Glen Burnie to help carry on the excellent care that was provided to our Mom.
