Lydia "Lee" M Faulstich

February 5, 1928 — January 16, 2026

Lydia "Lee" M. Faulstich, a woman who could turn sugar cookies into heirlooms and porch greetings into cherished memories, passed peacefully at Hospice of the Chesapeake on January 16, 2026, just shy of her 98th birthday. Born in Baltimore to European immigrants Heinrich and Elizabeth Volkman, Lee's humble beginnings inspired a deep contentment with the life she had created for herself and her family. A longtime resident of Pasadena, Lee retired from Westinghouse after decades in microchip manufacturing, though her real passion was as the family’s unofficial hug dispenser and holiday ham maestro. Her porch was a neighborhood landmark, where she waved at passersby and invited folks in for a chat. She adored adventures with friends, spending time with her great-grandkids, and was known to many as "Grandma" and "Grammy. "Lee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Faulstich, and her stepson, Joseph H. Faulstich. She leaves behind her devoted son, Bruce Faulstich; grandchildren Jenna Schreiber, Katie Faulstich (& husband Tim Morris), and Jordan Faulstich (& husband Andrew Harrell); and great-grandchildren Nathan, Emily, and Eve.
