Maria Chavez

November 19, 1938 — January 13, 2018

On January 13,th 2018 Maria Isabel Chavez was called home to be with her lord and Savior. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Oscar Chavez. Her daughter Maria Falchetti son Hector Falchetti Sr. grandsons Hector Falchetti Jr, Christian Lujambio, Daniel Lujambio, and Anthony Morciglio. Great grandkids Jenelle Combs, Maritza Falchetti, and Hector Falchetti the 3rd. As the matriarch of her family she was a pillar of strength in the lives of her loved ones. Her life was one of labor love and sacrifice as she gave everything she had to her family. Born on a farm in Uruguay she left school at the age of 14 and went to work as a domestic to help support her family. Throughout her life she provided help and support to countless people as her door was always open and if you walked through it you could count on a hot meal. If there wasnt enough she'd get up and make more. Her home was a haven of love and protection as she took in friends and family. Raising her first grandson as her own and helping raise all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She took great joy in caring for them all and even if they had nothing left in this world and were at there worst they could find comfort in knowing they had her unconditional love and support. There will never be another of her like and for that the world is at a loss. Though we suffer at the loss we rejoice that she is no longer suffering and she left this world knowing her job was done.

My Beloved Mother passed away....leaving a big void in our hearts, she was an invincible fighter and protector to so many friends and family a guiding force, a secure fortress, a compassionate spirit. She rescued so many from misery, and suffering if not with her words and empathy, by offering shelter, a warm, and hearty meal, a warm bed a blanket, and kind words that gave hope and made one believe in a better tomorrow...
