Mary Jo Cleckner

Mary Jo Cleckner passed at the age of 82, Born on December 22,1943 in Baltimore, Maryland and called to rest on October 1, 2026.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Andrew and Josephine Eder, Her husband of 34 years Robert Cleckner, and her sibling’s: Elizabeth Eder, Josephine Glass, Andrew Eder, Marlyn Kaczmarczyk, and Evelyn Nelson.

She is survived by her caring daughter Margaret Cleckner, son Robert Cleckner, Jr. and his wife Jean Cleckner. Grand children: Cole Cleckner, Jake Cleckner and his fiancé Emmalee Glaser, sister Helen Cullum, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Jo lived and worked her adult years in Anne Arundel County, Md. She worked in both the floristry and food industry over the years. She enjoyed traveling and working in the gardens around her home with Margaret. Most of all she enjoyed raising her children and sharing all the time she could with her grandchildren. 

Family and friends are invited to visit the family owned and operated McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Monday October 5, 2026, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 6, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church 8499 Virginia Avenue Riviera Beach, Maryland 21122. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
